CARES Surgicenter
The Surgicenter at the Center for Ambulatory Resources (CARES) features seven state-of-the-art
operating rooms and two rooms for minor surgery where children and adults can undergo
procedures and return home the same day.
Ambulatory surgeries offered at CARES include:
- Breast
- Dental
- Ear, nose, and throat (ENT)
- Gynecologic
- Orthopedic
- Pediatric ophthalmologic
- Plastic surgery
- Podiatry
- Urologic
Our Surgicenter is home to New Jersey's only virtual-reality operating room. Part
of the Minimally Invasive Skills Lab, it allows surgeons and medical students to
practice procedures and develop new lifesaving innovations.
