Center for Ambulatory Resources (CARES)
Saint Peter's University Hospital's Center for Ambulatory Resources (CARES) provides
comprehensive, multidisciplinary medical services to the community. This state-of-the-art
facility is home to doctors’ offices, a hearing-testing facility, a same-day surgery
center, the hospital’s second cardiac catheterization laboratory dedicated to outpatient
treatment services, and a Wound Care Center that was the first hospital treatment
center to offer
hyperbaric
oxygen therapy (HBOT) services.
The
CARES Surgicenter performs approximately
9,000 same-day procedures a year, making it one of the busiest in the area. Our
Health Center for Women at CARES focuses
on the special health and wellness issues that concern women of all ages. The Sports
Medicine Institute and the Sports Physical Therapy Institute, both at the Center
for Athletic Resources and Educational Services (CARES II), provide treatment for
sports-related injuries and surgeries.
