All our dietitians are registered by the American Dietetic Association and are available for counseling during the day and evening Monday–Friday, as well as on Saturday. Bariatric counseling appointments can be made by calling (732) 339-7600. For all other appointments, please call (732) 745-7930.

Prenatal Nutrition Class

Eating healthy can help you to have a healthy baby. Expectant parents are invited to join us for a practical and informative prenatal nutrition course, where we'll discuss topics such as weight gain, cravings, snacking, morning sickness, and nutritional needs for you and your baby. These classes also include a tour of our Labor/Delivery/Recovery Unit and our maternity units and nurseries. Call (732) 745-7930 to register.

Inpatient Services

At Saint Peter's University Hospital, our nutritionists, and the entire Food and Nutrition Services staff, work together to serve appetizing and nutritious meals. Specially prepared meals, including kosher, vegetarian and ethnically diverse dishes, are available upon request. Patients on restricted diets or those who have special dietary needs receive nutrition counseling from one of our registered dietitians or nutrition care technicians before discharge.
