For KEEPS

For KEEPS (Kids Empowered and Embraced through Psychological Services) is an acute partial-hospitalization short-term-stay program for children ages 5 through 17 who suffer from emotional and behavioral difficulties that affect their ability to function successfully in their classroom or home environments. For KEEPS provides individual and group counseling, family therapy and education, academic instruction, psychopharmacotherapy, discharge planning and referral services, daily meals, and transportation for eligible patients. The program operates year-round, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and accepts children from school, agency, physician and parental referrals.
